Instructions were given to a Glasgow jeweller to send items/small amounts of money? to Mrs P. c. Peebles; miss K A Peebles; Mrs Drysdale; Mrs Passmore; on the instructions of James Boyd, early 1910. Possibly in a will following a death?

Can anybody link theses names please? Cheers.

Hi. I'm Widows 7 pro. + PC and monitor. For some time now, when I power on, my usual desktop appears for about 15 seconds. Then it zooms in to show about 50% of usual desktop including zoomed icons. After about 4-5 mins it reverts back to normal. So annoying. Help please.

I have a June 1819 letter to Sir William Kay in London from a John Williams in Plymouth (solicitor?) re Mrs Webber's probate. It also mentions payment to 'yourself for payment to Captain Webber on account of his annuity'. and further 'as yourself and Captain Kay think proper.' Mention is made of a steam engine about to be erected for the benefit of the mine. This what I'd like to know more about. Anybody add anything? Cheers.

Hello Holt followers. I have the outer wrapping of a parcel? addressed to Mrs John F Holt at Emerald Cottage, Holcombe Brook, Bury from Germany. The many stamps indicate about 1934 (no descernable dates) Possible sender is Richter of Bavaria. Could this add to the family history? (Mrs Holt was Dora Lomas)

I have a couple of very small hymn pamphlets -one dated 1916 and the other for use in time of war - re the church of St John at Smallbridge in Lancashire. At that time the Reverend would have been Charles Henry Peters, (born 1882 Bristol) He married: had a daughter. I'm wondering if any family descendant would like them? Can't find in Surnames Interest Table. I would think that CHP inspired them, printed locally.
