Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Odd DNA match

Hi everyone. I've just got a 5th - 8th cousin match on Ancestry. It predicts the match from both sides of my family. My parents married in 1945, so I'm really not sure where this match has come from. Am I missing something obvious? Many thanks

My mother in law's parents were sent to prison for 1 months hard labour each in 1920. This was in Warrington Lancashire. Which prison would they have been sent to ? They were originally from Darlington and we know they went back there.

Hi. I tested on 23andme. A relative has popped up from a side of the family that I have nothing to do with and never will. I dont want this person to see anything about me but 23andme have said that there is no way to block or remove her. I have blocked her on messages but I know she would never contact me.
Any ideas on how to get rid?

Lancashire / Why the long wait between birth and baptism?

Can anyone think of a reason why there would be a gap of almost 7 months between a birth and a baptism? My 3x great grandfather was born 16th October 1846 ( I have the birth cert) and baptised 4th April 1847? Birth reg Prescot sub district Huyton. Baptism St Mary the Virgin, Prescot.

World War One / missing medals

Just googled my ancestor, as I do every now again, just to see if any new info has come around.
To my surprise his WW1 medals and death penny are up for sale.
My question is I know they have not been in possesion of close family, so where could they have been all this time?

Cork / Patrick Twohig b 1905 Macroom Cork

Im doing reasearch for a friend of mine, whose grandfather is Patrick Twohig b 1905 Macroom Cork.
I found he went to New York and in the 1930 census had a wife, Evelyn, but this lady is not his grandmother.
This information I got from Familysearch.
I believe there are children born in America but cant find any, although a grandson, I think posted on another site looking for Patrick.
I cant find a marriage record for him and Evelyn and wondered if anyone can help.

Believed to be born Liverpool.
She married Patrick F Cullen ( b Dublin 1893), 1918, West Derby.
This is for my friend who is at the stage of pulling her hair out....

30th October 1914, Private Horace F B Dredge, 23yrs, Wiltshire Regiment.

This young man is my Grandmothers brother.
He now lies in Pont-du-hem Military Cemetery La Gorgue
Service number: 7978
Rank: Private
Regiment: Wiltshire Regiment 1st Bn

He attended The Bishop Wordsworth School Salisbury,and is recorded on the War Memorial Plaque Roll of Honour

He is the young man standing at the back middle of my picture. In front of him is my Grandmother.
This is a family group.

Hi.
I'm looking for the 1881 census of the William and Nancy Keighley, Warrington.
In 1871 they were in Old Road, Warrington
1891 they were in Hind St, Warrington.
The 4 daughters married through the next decade
1901 they were at 5 Roger St, Warrington, 2 married daughters living next door at 7 and one the other daughters in Gaskell St Warrington

I've tried the name variants, on Genes, but it keeps coming up with Kelly.
