I believe, you need to look for the Disney Jones family from Ballybrennan House, Bree.
Not the Ballybrennan near Killinick in Forth. And yes Disney as in Disney land. Both Jones homes but as yet unrelated.

I have all the readable inscriptions from Ballybrennan Cemetery on Ballybrennan big near Killinick, This is a private cemetery relating to the owners of the estate over hundreds of years.
I have no Rothwells.
I do see Rothwell's owned Ballybrennan House, Bree, which is a different place. and often intermixed. These are not so far from each other and both held by the Jones family's for a great length of time but no connection as yet to join the families together.

Glenys are you still wondering about the cemetary at Ballybrennan Big? near Kilinick Wexford?
I have a lot of family buried there and most of the transcripts of the stones still readable.
Even some photos.

I do not have much and when I lookat it.
Are you saying Michael's father was Peter?
The only Peter Hughes I have found was from Wicklow.
I would start by working out what religion they were and see if you can find what happened to Peter and Bridget? Look at Cemeterys or contact the church at which they were Christened.

I have a Hannah Jones who last her furtune to a Wicklow Hughes
and a Anne Hughes and all her poor children in a family will dated 1840 and not been able to find a thing.

Did you find any hughes with the right names using Griffiths? remember the Irish always named the children after ther parents etc.

At the moment Wexford records are hard to find. They are supposed to be av. soon on the internet.

Tipperary / Re: Meaghers from Fethard / Killusty / Kiltinan

Hi Nancy,
First thing i think to work out is if they were RC of Protestant. completely different lot of church records to find!
There may not be civil records of that time but the individual churches and parishes kept there own.
I have a Church of Ireland Meagher who married a Lane Baker from Fethard about late 1790.
I do not think the families are connected as their daughter Jane Meagher Lane Baker kept a journal that she sent to Australia and she would of written if she had an Uncle in Aus.

Wexford / Re: Killinick, DANBY family, pre-1798

Jill,
First time user here.
My Family was from Killinick and have some Killinick Cof I records and cemetery records.
A few Harveys but no Danby.
My family had the next town land along ballybrennan big as well as Little. The current owner is photographing the cem for me but he has not said anything about Danby's.
If they had a farm have you looked at Griffith valuation to get his actual location? This may lead to a different church closer to where he lived rather than where her parents were.

Hi John I am probably too late to get the info from you.
James Agnew Eckersley Cregoe Shaw b 29 jun 1870 @ Kaiapoi
was my Uncle Jim!
I have very little information than that except his death.
So any information would be good.
