No I've not found death record for Sarah.

Most interested in the Thomas and Mary marriage, which I cannot find.

Was just trying to understand the T+S branch to keep it separate from the T+M family I am researching.

Hi Daisy,

Thanks for taking a look.

It seems that baptism record is a very good possibility.

What source is this from / where did you find it?

Yes, I am descended from John & Hannah (Francis, Thomas,...)

Can anyone help find the birth data / baptism record for John Beddin, approx 1700 assume Northamptonshire close to Sulgrave.

Married Hannah Cooper 30/09/1731 in Sulgrave.

Struggling to find any more information about him.

Would be nice to be able to go back another step in the tree.

Hi JennyAnn

Nice to hear from a relative. Will send you a PM to chat more.

I have similar research done of the Print(z) family in Germany around Grumbach going back several generations same as you've got to ~16c. And for later family in London. I have it all on Ancestry I'll send you a link to share/view it, if you're on there. If not can email you it. Will be good to compare what we know/don't know.

Missing piece for me has always been finding an immigration record/date for Freidrich/Frederick est.1840 from Prussia to England.

Indeed he was a baker, that's the story passed down to me also. I've searched for some information on when/where he worked but not really found anything.

 Tazzie

That sounds much better fit  :)

Thanks for the baptisms list - needed to look much much earlier!  :-[

England / James YOUNG of Aston Northants - marriage Bisley Gloucestershire 1783?
« on: Monday 15 November 21 19:22 GMT (UK)  »
Mary YOUNG baptised 21 Aug 1792 in Aston Le Walls, Northamptonshire.

Parents - James YOUNG & Lydia.

Cannot find a marriage for them ~ 1792 in Northants. Not many other possibilities popping up on the search.

Looks like it could be a marriage on 23 Jan 1783 in Bisley, Glocuestershire to Lydia Baglin.

But distance Bisley - Aston is over 50 miles... seems a lot to move in 1783.

Can anyone help support this being the correct marriage for them despite the distance?

ADD: Looks like James Young baptised 1751 in Aston and Lydia Baglin(g) baptised 1756 in Bisley. That would connect the two places.

Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Re: Marriage Lookup - Charles KING to Elizabeth
« on: Saturday 10 October 20 13:52 BST (UK)  »
Bump of this to see if we can make any progress on this with a fresh view.

John King, baptised 1803 Kirtlington to parents Charles King and Elizabeth.

Looking for their marriage.

Charles King married 1772 in Tackley to Elizabeth Spencer. Elizabeth had a son, Charles, baptised 1770 in Tackely sworn to Charles King. They had more children together after marriage from 1773-1784. They would be too old to be John's parents, more likely Charles jnr is the father.

Can't find a second marriage for a Charles King and Elizabeth in Kirtlington or nearby places.

Two potential options from OFHS for Charles jnr:

Charles to Elizabeth RANDAL, 1799 Oxford, this ruled out because there are baptisms their of their children in early 1800s at same time as John etc being baptised in Kirtlington.

Charles to Elizabeth White, 1797 North Hinksey, supporting evidence is that they were recorded as lodgers not of the parish and there is Elizabeth White baptism 1785 in NH so they could have simply gone there to get married in her home parish. Only problem is there are a lot of Charles King's around.

At the moment John's parents are in the tree as Charles jnr and Elizabeth White... I can't think what to do to prove/disprove this.
