Thanks Shane, I don't know when they married, but they had a son Thomas Joseph Hurley who was born 20/2/1856 co,cork, he died in Australia 18/6/1915 he was my g grandfather, he married Mary Teresa Elliott b1859 ? her mother and father were Thomas James Elliott 1834 to? Catherine Moriarty I don't know if they were in Ireland or not I will try the sites you have given me ,but I am self taught on the computer and being old what I learn to-day I forget by to morrow so I am great full for your input   Best wishes Terry

hi, hoping to find ancestors of Denis Hurley co,cork born about 1830 was married to Mary Mcgrath born about the same time  ??? hope I have the luck of the irish :D and there is someone out there that knows about them thanks

Thanks for the information it was great , as an oldie I find it very hard trying to find things on files. was there any information on Robert's birth and parents and are you related to any of them, I am only new to the forums but it is great to see the people on them seem to go out of their way to help I will also see if I have the know how to get into some of these file you have given me Best Wishes Terry

hi, anyone that might be able to shine some light on a robert davis born in somerset england 16/4/1806 died ? in 1635 he married mary ann chapman born 29/6/1806 died ? any help on their ancestors would be great ???

Hi David,
Edward and Mary traveled to Australia in about oct 1852 They became two of the four pioneers of the limestone plains the book about them was written in 1952 their son Shelton was my wife's ggrandfather and his sister married into the Cameron family (clan Cameron) her name was Annie Elizabeth thanks for the effort you have put in as you can see they were quite famous in Australia and there ancestry should not end  there  for a couple that could not read or write they did alright  Regards Terry :D

thanks david  the information i have is john smith born 1778 and died 1861 (huntingdonshire)  he married rebecca ellis born 1784 died 1852  they had a son edward smith born1822 he married mary kilby born 1818 daughter of john kilby and jean shelton edward and mary came to australia in 1852 on the ship irene i was trying to find more ancestors in the uk thanks for your help terry
