Thank you to you both this has been a great help and has given me more to work on.
Trying to locate John Thomas b 1869 's parents .
It does seem that there is definitely an Edward Reading who married Alice Harling as already posted .
But unable to place Edward in any of the census which shows how he fits in with the other male readings.

Any one out there that are related to or researching the name Reading or Ainsworth in these areas.
My great grandad is
Reading, John Leo
1903 - Fylde, Lancashire
who married a Florence Ainsworth in 1923 in Fylde
Anybody who can help me trace their ancestors would greatly be appreciated as not been able to so far.
