Solved!! Thomas was in Montgomeryshire where they used to live in the 1841 Census as a lodger in the 1851 census!

If it helps, John Milner was born around Penkridge, Staffs and Jane Milner born around Ranton, Staffs...

Staffordshire Lookup Requests / 1841 Census lookup - Sarah Milner

Please could someone help solve a family mystery for me!
I have at last got the Birth Certificate of my Gt Gt Gt Grandfather Henry Godfrey Milner (b1858) but it has thrown up more questions than answers! Henry is shown on the 1871 census as Grandson to John and Jane Milner. In 1861 census John and Jane have a 2yr old son Henry. I assumed that Jane was the mother but couldnt be sure as Jane was born c1809!!
Here's the mystery now... the birth certificate showed no father and mother as Sarah Milner!! John and Jane have no Sarah listed in 1851 census or any other!!
A bit of digging later showed a Sarah Milner born c1829 in Eccleshall, Staffs working as a servant (maybe the master or servant is the father??!!). As Henry is born in Ecclshall and the rest of John and Jane's children are also born Ecclesahall/Wootton area of Staffs this must be the one...
Can some kind soul lookup the 1841 census in Eccleshall/Wootton region. John b c1802 Jane b c1809 and siblings Thomas c1836, Elizabeth Ann c1836 and William c1840 and perhaps solvethe puizzle?!

I am searching for Thomas and Mary Andrews with children Sarah, John, Edward and Thomas in 1841 Census. i believe that they were residing in Wentnor as most of the census records i have had them born in Wentnor, however, it also possile that they were living in Stretton (be it Church or little or A N Other Stretton!!) or possibly Minsterley or Pontesbury. sorry to be vague but you know how these census records are! if you require any further info then let me know!

many thanks for your assistance so far. does this mean you found mary and the kids in darlaston in 1841 or 1851? is it possible for you to send me this or transcript? i thought that they would be in shropshire in the areas where the children were alledgedly born in 1841 or 1851? it is possible that thomas was working on the farm in shropshire (wherever that was!) in these censuses as i understand that in those days they could live away from the land and have somebody else running it! how do i get hold of a copy of the shropshire 1841 census? best regards.
