I forgot to add I know Daisy's birth details.

She was born in Reading in 1897. 

Her brother Edward was born in Glasgow in 1896.
Their mother was Maria McIntyre.  Maria had been married before and she was a widow.    Maria and Edward Sangwell (their parents) married in Glasgow. 

I did trace Daisy's father to living in Glasgow up to 1902.  His sister died in 1908 so I believe he was back in Reading by then.

I have researched this family extensively and found I was able to go back to about 1841.

Daisy May Victoria Butterfield nee Sangwell was my grandfather's half sister.   

She had a older brother Edward who was in the RAF ww1 as a aircraft mechanic.   He got sick in January 1920 and passed away 2 February 1920.

Their father is my great grandfather Edward Sangwell of 8 Rupert Street in Reading (Berkshire).
My mum knew Daisy's 2 half siblings and my aunts were born in the family home.   

I have been looking for my cousins in Canada for some time if anyone can help.    I have a photo of Daisy and William on their wedding day in 1922.   Unfortunately my mum didn't know anything about her grandfather Edward Sangwell but one of her sisters remembers being with their grandparents from about 1940 to 1945.  Edward died in 1942 and my grandfather's mother Mary Ann Gibbons (nee Leeke) died in 1943.   Mary Ann had been married before like Edward had been and she had had 5 children before she was a widow in 1908.   My own great aunt Elizabeth is their first child born in 1910.

I was logging in today and saw the request regarding William (Willie) and Daisy Butterfield.   

Daisy was my grandfather's half sister.    I was able to research the family up to William and Daisy's emigration to Canada.

The family is a little complex with a number of half siblings.   Daisy's father Edward Sangwell born 1868 was my great grandfather.  He died in 1942.  Her brother Edward passed away in 1920.   Their mother was Scottish.   My grandfather was born in 1914 and his father is Edward Sangwell and his mother was Mary Ann Gibbons nee Leeke.   His mother was a widow when she had a family with Edward  and they were together from at least 1909.   

The Sangwell family are buried in Reading.  Edward had several siblings who died when young and a older sister who died in 1908.  My aunt and also my mother's aunt are named after her. 

I have been looking for my Canadian relatives for about ten years.

Thanks so much to everyone for posting this information and I do hope I can find my cousins via Daisy.

George Wood married Ann Forster.   Some of the children have the mother stated as Ann , Agnes or Eleanor but its Ann.  She died in 1837.

I am related to George and Ann - contact me if you want to.

George Wood, boat builder, mentioned here is my great great great grandfather. 
He married Ann Forster , yes some of the children have different mother's names but Claire (above) and i believe it is Ann, as Claire has found a burial entry for Ann Wood, 1837.  Only George is on the census from 1841.  Blake lived at 1 College Place,  Berwick and Rebecca never married (passed away aged 35).
