Thanks what is Yeoman, is that a profession?  Never heard of it, still not sure if it is the right person as never heard of him being a merchant, presume that is a navy man

Thanks

The Common Room / Help with wording

I have a Robert Romans death in 1821.  I am not sure it is the right person, but want to know what the wording is after in the first column, Robert Romans Merchant son of Robert and Ann Romans (then the next word I cant understand.  If it is the right person his mother was mentioned in the same page.

I cant attach the document.  Hope this link works

The Common Room / searching for census by the piece number etc on ancestry
« on: Sunday 13 November 22 15:19 GMT (UK)  »
I know I have asked this question before, but I can't remember what was said.

I have the Archive reference, the piece number, page number etc for a census on 1841.  How do I search using those details on ancestry.  I have found it on find my past but need to save to my tree on ancestry.

I thought it was in card category, but can't see where you would put them details in

thanks

No I have it attached to my tree, but I cant see the original now as I dont have ancestry.  Just need to double check to see why my mam Brenda Johnson was still on the electoral register with Frank when they were spilt up by then.  But I am sure when I saved it a while back, they were both on it.

thanks

I dont have access to ancestry at present, and was wondering if someone could send me over the original.  I have saved it to my tree but need to take a look at the info on it.

Its for Brenda and Frank Johnson in 1960 and 1965, not sure if there were others.  It was living at  I think 9 Manor Road, Burscough, Lancashire.  I would really appreciate any help.

thanks
Angela
