i  Have a 4x grandfather  Richard Lacey born in Dublin 1799c  i believe his parents may be Dennis Lacey and Ellen can anyone help me to verify this. Richard Lacey was  next shown to be married to Ann  Sproston {b 1798 congleton Cheshire} in Cheshire England. Any assistance in this would be appreciated.

Hi Maddy. what i am trying to establish is Elizabeth (Mother to Alice)  actual surname Gregory or Diggory as it states on Alice' s birth certificate that I am in possession of  yet it is Gregory on the census and marriage certificate of Elizabeth when she  married to John Cooper in 1862. is there anyway to establish it at all. which is correct ??

I have a person name Elizabeth Diggory  or Gregory . b 1833 Drayton Shropshire.  she married in Burslem 1862  to John Cooper( b 1831 Burslem ). looking at the census they had children before their marriage however my dilemma is  they had a daughter Alice who is my 3x grandmother and on the birth certificate it says  Elizabeth Diggory . The census address   is shown to be  correct as it is where both sides of my families were born and grew up in that area. Can anyone shine a light on this  and is it possible that such a big mistake could be made. i have been trying to work this out  for a long time i would fresh eyes to look at it for me. Many Thanks Glenys

This is a long shot as my husband Grandmother who was a widow Emily Daniels nee Screen married a George Carver about 1920 Staffordshire, They may have had 4 sons one name Bill /William. The reason for this request is he has NO photos of his Grandmother Emily. Emily was first marries to John Thomas Daniels who died in the WW1  on the Western Front.  If anyone knows of this family connection i would be very grateful to hear from you, My husband Anthony John Daniels visited the family in the 1950s at Knighton Radnorshire. we live in Queensland Australia.Thank you for any assistance,

Would someone clarify a marriage for me between Thirza Plant and William Cooke 1811 Bucknal - I am trying to discover if Thirza is the sister of Ralph Plant b1795 (parents being Ralph Plant and Lydia Malkin) if this is the case it would be quite something as my husbands side would be from Thirza and my side would be from Ralph   by 5 generations of separation. As this happened before. if someone could check this marriage to see if the parents name appear on any marriage information. Thanks Glenys- Queensland Australia
