Hi,
Don't know if you still look at this site, I have only got back to it this week.
Did you ever get info on Boyd's in 1901 census. I have just found one family, but will need to know dates of birth.
I have Boyd's in my family tree.

Hi,
Yes I think it possible, seeing as I said Frances married John Houchild.
I believe her parents were William 1802 - 1886 & Margaret Savage? 1807 - 1884
Hannah married john Henry Lundbeck one of their sons Ernest born 1891 married Mary Ellen Mercer b 1893.
I have found a christening for her on LDS but they have her surname as Grinfield 2 Sep 1830 St.Michael.
Mercer was my Mums maiden name.
Anything else let me know.
Bfn,
Jim

Hi,
I came across your message last night I have this family in my tree, I say it this way because I too have found any number of spelling variations of the surname.
John Houchild & Frances A Greenfield were married in 1881 20 238. Jane Elizabeth, Hannah Elizabeth, Frances m Joseph Bethell, Louisa, William Ida Adeline I have in my tree.
I have Hannah Elizabeth's tree when she married John Henry Lundbeck lots of variations on his surname.
Do you have access to Ancestry web site, I would rather keep my tree private
or I could email you details of what I have, if we are singing off the same hymn sheet.

Kildare / Re: Nolan/Murphy Kildare

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, problem is i'm not too sure.
Most Census and other records only state a county or even 'Ireland'.
Michael Nolan my great grandfather was born 1843, he was, I think, christened in Allen and Milltown RC Church.

He marrried Ellen Murphy who I know was born in Hughstown, Kildare
in 1847, her father was Daniel.

Jim

Sorry to hear your plight, it is a costly business and a frustrating one at times, especially Irsh Ancestry.
Anyhow to the point, I have O'Nell's in my family tree, Cornelius.
If you would like further info or any help I can give I will do my best to investigate.

Regards,
Jim

Hi,
First of all sorry I have not replied befor now, branched out to other family members because I got stuck.
Thanks for the info, it certainly looks promising for Ellen, the 1911 census gives her age as 66 born Hughstown. I have a wedding certificate for her to Michael Nolan 1874 in Liverpool. Her father was Daniel.
Do not have any info about her mother or sisters. I have tried to trace them from what you have given but no luck.
May I ask where you got the information from?

Regards,
Jim

I am researching Michael Nolan born 1848, I have found some references to him being born 1843, His father was James.
Also Ellen Murphy born 1847 in Hughstown Kildare her father was Daniel a farmer, she married Michael.
I believe in the 1851 census 5 years was deducted from a persons age, is this so, and why you find different birth years.
