Hi Mike just thought I would say hello again I haven't been doing hardly any research for a while now as life just got in the way, however I am keen to get back to it now and I would love to know if you have had any further success with the Clarke line
Cheers Jill

I have just come across a record that maybe be my Gt Grandfather Frank James Burton..  it is a  register of a death 1906 grave number 436D  Internment #18686 not consecrated is anyone able to help me with this record please The only record I have for him is a census record 1901 aged 46, then in 1911 census my Gt grandmother is stated as a widow. They were living in Stockport in 1901 and I am not sure if this cemetery is close to that area Thank you in advance Have spent many years now trying to find records of him

London and Middlesex / Clark family Bethnal Green and Shoreditch

Just wondering if there is any one else searching the Clark(e) family in these areas???
My 4x Gt Grandfather was Joshua Clark married to Martha Brooks
I have been searching with no success for births records of 2 of their children
a) Daniel abt 1814
b) James abt 1812
I can find other children, but not these two.
Joshua and Martha's (Marther) marriage found took place on 21st April 1800 in St Mary the Virgins Church Aldermanbury  after banns were read.
Therefore I feel that these 2 sons would have had a baptism ???
James is my 3 x Gt Grandfather and he married Maria Enzer abt.1838 in st Johns Bethnal Green Tower Hamlets also after banns
If there is anyone else searching for the same family please contact me or if there is anyone that could advise me where to look?? Parish records have been searched for St Mathews and St Leonards Thank you in advance

Novak20 Thank you so very much That is great I have never heard of the settlement examination collection where do I find it?? I wonder if you have had your DNA done? It would be amazing if we are connected. I have a connection with a descendant of Daniel living in Adelaide Australia, Daniel was transported as a convict if you would like any further info on that I may be able to help you Once again Thank you so much

Thanks for the replies I said Shoreditch because I have found 3 other children of Joshua and Martha a Mary Matilda, Henry and William all born there. My maiden name was Clarke with the "e" but seems that was added some years later.
I have seen the James Waters Clark birth but do not think it is my James
