« on: Wednesday 05 November 14 15:33 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

I am looking to trace my ancestors through William Page born 1837 in Hughenden Bucks.

I know he married a Sarah Hathaway in 1861 in Little Missenden and had issue:
Herbert born circa 1860
Robert Rowland born 1874

Other than this and the fact he was a lawyer in 1861 I cannot find any other detail about him and certainly nothing about his parents, can anyone help me out?

Family History Beginners Board / Looking for the Crudge Ancestors

I am drawing a blank so hoping to get some help from you lovely people.
I am descended from a lady called Hannah CRUDGE who was born 1735 in the Isles of Scilly and married a Hugh TREGARTHEN.
I am trying to trace her ancestors as rumour in the family has always had it that we are descended from the GODOLPHINS of Cornwall through her dad William CRUDGE (b around 1700) and then his parents were purportedly John CRUDGE and Ursula GODOLPHIN. And then further back, Sir Francis Godolphin.

Anyone able to shed any light on this for me? I am keen to hear from any distant relatives!
