the search i did on google showed the name of the base as correct, i am looking for british info, there is some history that comes up on google but not much about the date range i am after.

I am hoping someone maybe able to help me make sense of a document that i have received from the records office showing the medals won.

i am trying to find out as much a possible about Harold, he is believed to have served on the submarines during WW1, any help finding out his submarine number would be  great.

my grandfathers details:
Sidney borm 02 july 1910 at salisbury cottages, station road, lingfield

his mother Amelia Penfold born 26 feb 1890 at withy farm holsted keynes.
there is little information about Clarence known in the family all my father rememembers is being told clarence died at a young age. (where, what from, and where is is buired is a mystery) i have found an entry in the 191 census which may be Clarence:
ref Rg13 632 Folio 30 11: Staion Road Lingfield
Jmaes Dorrington Mar age 56 Head
Ellen Dorrington MAr Age 52
Willm Dorrington S 21 M
Clarence Dorrington S13 M
Emily Fiest Niece 11 F

hello i am looking for information relating to the death of clarence dorrington i am not sure exactly when he died. i was told my grandfather was young at the time, my grandfather was born 2 july 1910 so it would be around that date i think. clarence's parents where james dorrington & ellen dorrington.

any help would be great
