Frederick David Walter West registered Hendon Middlesex March quarter 1908 Vol. 03A page 274 mother's maiden name Jarvin

Thomas John West registered Hendon Middlesex June Quarter 1910 Vol. 03A page 379 mother's maiden name Galvin.

There is a newspaper report from the Yarmouth Mercury dated 23 February 1918, when they found his body. A Cpl. H F West says he is his brother.
Frederick had been in the hospital in Cambridge with a bad heart.   

Pension of 27 shillings/11 pence per week awarded to the widow with 2 children on 12 August 1918.

The application from Lawrence Galvin - brother in law and Guardian for the children requesting a replacement plaque as the previous paperwork etc. had been lost.

So Lawrence was Dora's brother.

I think this is the death of George Parkin father of Benjamin.

26 December 1846 Sheffield Daily Telegraph 
Inquest George Parkin age 55. A long article to include all aspects required of an inquest.
Paraphrasing.
He was a clever workman, steel melter in the employ of Messrs. Jessop and Sons unfortunately addicted to intemperance.

His death was reported March quarter 1847, reg. Sheffield.

His wife Elizabeth possible death June quarter 1846 age 51 reg. Sheffield.

Sheffield Daily Telegraph dated 28 May 1864

DIED On the 26th instant much and deservedly respected Mr. Benjamin Parkin of Brightside, aged 44.
He was in the employ of Messrs. W Jessop and Sons for upward of 27 years.

Benjamin Parkin dies 1864 age 44.

In 1877 Ann Parkin marries Thomas York reg. Sheffield.

**Do you have the 2nd marriage of Ann Parkin nee Wilson does she still say her father is Thomas and a Book Keeper??

1881 census Benjamin Parkin and Maria Parkin transcribed as Parker on ancestry are living with Thomas York and Ann York (formerly Parkin nee Wilson) listed as step children.

From Benjamin's first marriage he had son George who he named for paternal grandfather.
With Ann Wilson he had:-
Joseph 1848     (who is he named for ?)
Ann Elizabeth 1850   - named for mother and paternal grandmother?
Alfred 1852  died 1853 age 0 or 1854 age 1 death certificate needed to verify
Benjamin 1854 - named for his father
Thomas 1856  died 1856 age 0  (4th son likely named for Benjamin's brother)
Edward 1857   died 1860 age 3
Wilson 1860  died 1863 age 2 (mothers maiden name)
Maria 1864  (named for Benjamin's sister)
