Can anyone look up the birth of Edward McArdell ~1797
please?
He moved to England and later married Anne Mary Stanley in Manchester, 1821.
Any pre-1800 information appreciated

Dear All

Thanks for your efforts but I think this is not the family I am looking for.  William Riley was definitely a Boot & Shoe maker not a gunmaker.

Cheers

My mistake.. sorry. William should have been:1799-1849.

The person I am looking for is a William Riley who was a Boot and Shoe maker. He has a son Frederick Riley born ~1835.

I have no other clues so I am not certain if the William Riley married to Ann Cole is the person I am looking for- its just that the dates match.

Cheers

Donegal / Re: Colquhoun family -any resource

Dear all

Thanks for replies.  I dont think my Colquhouns are related (at least not directly) to any of these.
Alex Colquhoun b.1791 Ireland married Agnes ? b.1801 Ireland
according to the 1841 census they lived at Sherwood Place, Atkinson Street Liverpool. Alex was a ships' carpenter.

William Colquhoun b. 1813 Ireland married Anne Jane Elliot b 1819 Ireland in Conway Convoy Co. (1841). By 1843, this couple also lived at Sherwood Place Atkinson Street, Liverpool. They had a son who died at 1 day old.  By 1846 they had returned to Ireland (while Alexander and his family remained in England). William and Jane had another son born in Ireland 1846 and then emmigrated to USA and had 6 more children.

If this rings any bells with anyone please let me know.
Cheers
