      I have looked at Alan's tree. Alan is 90 years old I am 83 years old. As 4th cousins we should share a Grandparent, however I do not see one we share.

MyGrandmother Alice Ann Horrobin married Harry Howarth 1900 Albertt Memoriall Church Collyhurst Manchester record has her father as John deceased
I have John Married to Mary Jane Foden from GRO record and father of John as Joseph married Ann Gregory also a GRO record.
DNA shows Alan Horrobin as my 4th-6th cousin. I have searched is tree but can see the connection I thought his Grandparent should my Grandparents, am I wrong?

Hello, I am looking for help with my family, All records I have found are from Llanfyllin.This is what I have found.Llewelyn Jones married Margaret Lewis in 1835.Margaret was born Denbig,Denbigshire according to all census,
 They had son Llewellyn born 1836.
A daughter Mary born 1839.
A son William born 1842 (my g-grandfather )
see 1851 census the family is living at Gelli Banks,Trederwen,Llansantfraid.

My g-grandfather worked on railroad and Married Elizabeth Roberts of New Martin,Shropshire,she is working as a servant,

The marriage took place in Staffordshire 1864

Father was Llewelyn JONES

Mother Margaret Lewis

William and Elizabeth returned to New Martin,

They had a son William born in 1867

My grandfather Thomas Edward born Oswestry,1870

   Yes,this is my family my g-grandfather William was born the following year 1842.They appear again in 1851 census when William is 9 years old

   i have at long last found John Horrobin's parents.Joseph Horrobin I knew from John's marriage to Mary Jane Foden 1864.
i found John and Mary Jane Foden marriage at the GRO which gave me Joseph Horrobin and Ann Gregory as his parents.
