I missed the number off the first image I sent would that have been his Merchant Navy number?  R71714 I cant find him in the crew lists?
Here  another ship he was on, Ungada had been a sea  4 years was a wireless operator,  engaged on ship on 9.3.24  Swansea, not discharged arrival. could read. his age 23. male. English, British. height 6'0'' weight 147. no Physical marks.
I think it might have been a tanker I cant find anything on it , only one was  built ib 1950s
