My sister in law says thank you so much!
She thinks THAT George is most probably him, as Joseph was a witness at his marriage.

Thank you again!

Hi Louisa,

Hahahaha! Thanks for all that! I will pass it on to my sister in law and see if there’s a match!
Quite agree, it does make a nice change from the madness!

Take care, I’ll let you know if anything comes of it!

Sorry, my fault! I put the initial post out as a long shot....you replied so rapidly, which was great!
It was during our conversations that I was given more info.
Appreciate your help, sorry if it caused you any inconvenience.

Hi Louisa,

Apparently my sister in law thought that  entry was for the William George she was looking for, but she followed him through and found his death entry. William George’s father was George according to the two marriage certificates.

So don’t think this is the family she’s looking for!

Thank for help!

Hi, this is the bit my sister in law is trying to find....birth date and place of birth.
Think she’s probably tried Ancestry.

Thanks,
Shona

Hi Louisa,
That’s great, thanks!
This is info for my sister in law, her husband had ancestors from this area.
She’s given me this info:

William George Seymour, aka George Seymour, married first (?) Frances Mary Beckett 1895 in Chieveley. She died 1896.
Married 2nd, Florence Ellen Hostler/Ostler (spelling?) in Mattingley 1899.

Any further info appreciated.
Thank you,
Shona

Hi,

This is a long shot I think.
Does anyone have any information about a Seymour family, living in Curridge, round about 1860 ( could be 10 years either side).

Many thanks,
Shona

Dear James,
I’m so pleased you’ve been successful in filling in some of the details for Moyra. It’s a lovely thing to have done and I’m sure this will have given her comfort.
Best wishes to you,
Shona
