I do not have any certificates. This is from family and other info I have found on the internet.
It is possible that he is just James Bristow. I've not been able to find anything and the dates could definitely be different.
They were definitely married in Dunedin NZ but I couldn't find James arriving in NZ or any of his relatives. It may be he wasn't born in Brighton?

I also only have 4 children for James and Matilda though Matilda's family all from Jersey were a large family and many of the jersey ones seems to be.

OK that brings up more questions than answers. I have been trying to find a link between us and Garden of Troup. It must be further back than I have on our side of the family.

I am looking for information on Peter Garden who is believed to have lived until he was 131/132 in/near Turriff/Auchterless, Scotland.
