Family History Beginners Board / Re: Widnall Surname
« on: Friday 24 June 11 16:30 BST (UK)  »
Thank You Mort29, Garstonite and Stanmapstone for your help it is appreciated.

I do have a Widnall line for my own pedigree line that goes back to Robert Widnall born Circa 1806 nottinghamshire, and i am trying to expand the family surname into other lines of the surname Widnall, there are some corruptions with this surname, such as Witmall, Widmell, Withall, and Widneal that i have seen, although it may take some time, I'm hoping to find all the widnall family lines that i can.

Hi Whitstable
Tried the site myself from the page, and worked alright, opened the site so i could take a look, and opened the update just to see if the site would let me do that, and it worked fine.
it maybe that the site says that the username that you tried to enter was unavailable, is that it is being used by a member, try another username, hope this helps, sorry about the delay in answering.

I also have strong Beaney and Ripley lines in my tree,

here is a link to a Family History site for Worthing Sussex England,
worthingwetpaint.com see below
Its main function is to bring people together that have an family history interest in Worthing, a place to find help with their research in one way or another, At the moment i have a project in hand, the transcriptions of graves from Durrington Public Cemetery, the site as only been open a few weeks and needs members, so you will find it a little sparse at the moment, but with members joining that will improve over time,
as you will see it is a interactive site, So you can contact other members through the site or contact other members Privately through the site, and lots more, if you join and have a link that you would like to enter on the site then do so, as long as the link is beneficial to the members of the Site.
