Thank you for pointing out an issue with Robert Douglas and Agnes Young entry. I discovered I made a separate entry causing slight confusion on my end. Now all fixed up and yes they are part of my Douglas family. Robert Douglas (married to Agnes Young) is the youngest son of Robert Douglas and Elisabeth Brounlee.

The William Lyle family in the Centre lair, Wm 70 yrs and Ann 79 might be married with William being the son of William Lyle and Anne Brounlie. More work needed here. In the north lair - the second Ann Lyle is daughter of Wm Lyle and Anne Brounlie. Ann Murray and Archibald Ross might be grandchildren to Lyle/Brounlie. More work needed here!
So far you’ve managed to connect all these folk with my gang. Fantastic!

Lodger, I do have a few other family records for you to search, if you have the time.
John Brownlie/Mary Downie
William Lyle/Anne Brownlie
And
Alexander Douglas/ Elizabeth Burns
John Douglas/Catherine Brown
Michael Buckham/Margaret Douglas
Robert Douglas/Agnes Young
I'm hoping this completes my search. Many thanks.

I suspect you may well have records for David Muirhead's parents, Robert Muirhead (1799-1872) and Lydia Lithgow. I haven't studied much of their family, always curious about those that emigrated. David Muirhead was a Coalminer as was his father. Robert and Lydia lived their married lives in Wishaw and interestingly at 135 Main St., the street where many of the Douglas relatives also lived!

David Muirhead with his 2nd wife Marion Fisher left Scotland in 1883 for the US and settled in Danville, Illinois.

I can definitely respond to Isabella Telfer Hamilton. She is the daughter of William Hamilton and Elizabeth Douglas, grand daughter to James Douglas and Janet Douglas, my direct relatives.
Isabella was born July 27, 1852 Wishawtown and died age 25, Feb. 9, 1878 of Peritonitis in Wishaw. A child Elizabeth D. was born about that time and her death may have been related to this. David Muirhead remarried Nov. 15, 1878 to Marion Fisher. Isabella Telfer Hamilton was named after her father's mother Isabella Telfer.

In regard to Elizabeth T. Muirhead, I suspect it's an error and this should read Isabella T. Muirhead. According to Ard, she was buried Feb. 11, 1878. Is the burial near the Robert Douglas clan?

The photo of Rev. Peter Brown is a great find. He would have seen this whole Douglas family. He would have likely married the younger Douglas/Brownlee family members if not other extended family members. Unfortunately my direct relatives, Janet Douglas Douglas was b. 1805 and married James Douglas abt. 1827, Cambusnethan. But they attended his church and half their children were baptized by him. When the news of the family's death while emigrating to Canada in 1857, he would be consoling daughter Elizabeth Douglas and William Hamilton and possibly son Robert Douglas who had recently moved and married in Leith.

I had much of the material for the baptisms sent but the entries also included father's occupation and where they lived which is interesting to have. Can you expand on what might have been happening in Scotland to the Home Weaving industry. So many of my relatives before they emigrated were all weavers for over a century!!! I've assumed that industrialization was taking over the industry and families didn't see how they would survive without this cottage craft.

Mary Muir is a mystery. Could she be from a previous marriage?
Unfortunately I have only one Robert Douglas without a wife.
Could Christina Brunt be married to Robert Douglas b.1816, s/o Thomas Douglas and Sarah Nesbit? What years does the Baptismal Record Book record? I'm sure it might be helpful to fill in more of my blanks.
Thanks.

I don't believe Mary Muir belongs to me but the rest of your list are my clan!
Thanks.

Thank you for the entries for Agnes Tennant Douglas and her parents Robert and Jane H. Dougal.
John D. Reid as yet doesn’t seem to belong to me. I’m thinking Christina Douglas, d/o John Douglas and Elizabeth Young, is married to Thomas Lightbody. Elizabeth Hamilton is the daughter of my direct line who stayed behind with her husband and family when her Douglas family emigrated.  I’m very glad to know where her remains are. And yes, William is indeed her husband, so No. 111 seems to be my Douglas plot.!
As you might expect I’ve a good number of Robert Douglas.
Robert Douglas b. 1826, Cambusnethan married Janet Marchbank in 1857, perhaps Charlotte Brunt (abt. 1829 – 1854) was his first wife? Or it could be the above Elizabeth Hamilton’s brother Robert Douglas (1831-1903) who married in June 1854. Is she buried in #111? There is also Robert Douglas b 1833 s/o Alexander Douglas and Agnes Anderson. I have no other data on him.
I think I’ve caught up on your messages. Again I appreciate all your help with this.
