United States of America / Re: John Farrell
« on: Yesterday at 20:37 »
It looks like John sailed back to Glasgow (in Nov. 1923 according to the 2nd page of the later passenger list) and returned to New York in January 1924.

The 1930 census says he filed his first papers for naturalization, but I didn't see markings on the passenger list indicating that he was naturalized.

Do you have any further details about John, such as exact date of birth, parents' names, names of siblings, any relatives in the US, or middle name?  Such common names might need more detail to narrow down possibilities.

This may be the death record for son George, since he wasn't mentioned in Jane's obituary - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:H5HQ-D3W2

Last surviving sibling from that generation appears to be Nana Green, who lived to 102 with various survivors, including one great-great-grandchild - https://www.newspapers.com/article/pittsburgh-post-gazette-obituary-for-nan/147490905/

In her passport application, Minnie claimed that they married in 1891 in New York City.  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QV5Y-N6RP

I didn't see any likely matches for that marriage.

The son Julian died by suicide in 1897 in Michigan.  The newspaper article about it seemed to be suspicious of his father's reported nobility.  https://www.newspapers.com/article/detroit-free-press/147447495/

The Countess had a fake ad mentioning her Spanish ancestors in various newspapers in 1901.  https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-tennessean/147447297/

The Countess opened a school of psychology in Atlantic City.  https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-buffalo-times/147447193/

Do you have census records or death records for any of these people?  If so, please provide links or information.

Richard Owen Jones married Mary Jones registered West Derby 1883

1891 they have a daughter Sarah 6 and May age 4

That May still seems to be with the family in 1901 and 1911.  They all have common names, but Richard is a wholesale drapery buyer in 1901 & 1911 and a salesman for a home warehouse in 1891, so that seems to support that it's the same guy in all.  It's possible that May/Anna May travelled back and forth to the US during that time, but maybe it's a different family.
