My eye was also caught by Florence Maud Calway as her birth was registered in Q4 1889, so not far off the July dob, but I think she died in 1890

1841 Census - there's a William Jones, age 35, Bridge Street - is the occupation "Baker" ?
Yes, I saw that too. There seem to be three Bridge Streets in Bristol at that time (or perhaps there is some spanning of boundaries) – is there any way to know which is which?
Perhaps Emma Daniel(s) is Edwin's mum? Particularly if she was born circa 1842 (as per the 1861 census). That might explain Edwin being listed as Eliza's grandson.
Haven't found Emma yet after 1861. (On a separate note, it's odd how Rosinna Daniel's birth was registered twice: in 1850 and 1852).
I have gone back to look at Mary Ann McManus - Born 27 Oct 1859 in Birmingham, I have her in the
1861 census father James McManus Tailor. 1871 in Winchester.
In 1891 she is living in same house as a James Harlow it states she is single. No occ.
I think this is where the Harlow comes in but no marriage as yet.
