Hi,
I have a relative at the above address during the 1911 census.   Can anyone please give me some information about this house for women.  There seems to be single, married and widowed women of all denominations resident at the time of the census.  Thanks,

Hi 'myluck'  your  "There is a birth record of a John Joseph O'SULLIVAN in Belfast
Jul-Sep 1919 reference Volume 1 Page 240
The adding of the "O'" is not unusual on records"   was exactly correct!   Just received the cert from Roscommon and it's the one I'm looking for.   Many, many thanks for everyone's help, this has made my birthday  extra special.    NOW CLOSED.

Hi myluck
No, I have not been able to locate death cert for mother as yet a) unsure if she married before giving birth b) do not yet know her first name c) could not find on 1911 census because of reasons a and b.  All I have is that she was the only sibling of my grandfather Joseph Sullivan, her mother's first name is Elizabeth.  Cannot see indexes online, only transcriptions so can't find her at present, was hoping to get more info from John's birth details.  it's 11km to the nearest LDS family centre and no public transport or car at the minute.   Looks like I shall be putting it on my Christmas list for Santa.
Thanks for all your help.

Hi 'ernlun'
I have some ancestors who died shortly after birth and the are buried in the baby pubic area nex Fox Lodge which is on the Whiterock Road side of the cemetery.   There are no grave markers in this area.

Have you also considered the John Sullivan birth in County Antrim, with father John, in 1917 on UHF site?

Where did you get his birth year of 1919 from? Was it a handwritten entry in a bible/letter or such? If yes, could '7' have been read as '9'?

Hi scotmum,  thanks for suggestion, yes I looked at this John whose father was a soldier named John Sullivan and born 27 Sep 1917, mother Mary Wilson.  My John is definitely born 1919 as advised by my aunt who is now deceased and his mother was a Sullivan, my grandfathers sister.  To confirm this I ordered his army papers which clearly give dob as "14 July 1919".b

Thanks 'myluck!'  I shall make a note of this and next time I venture over to Ireland I shall go to GRONI and have a look and see if its my John.    Greatly appreciate the clue as it doesn't come up on the online databases I have looked at.  Again many thanks.

Hi, I wonder if anyone could shed some light on my problem.
I am looking for the birth details of John Sullivan dob 14 Jul 1919, as far as I'm aware he was born in Belfast.   John was the cousin of my father (also a John) and his mother died during the birth so I am unaware of John's parents names and there is no family left to ask.
When looking in PRONI some years ago I noted a 'male' Sullivan born 3rd Qtr, Vol 2, Page 687 Kells - Proni MIC 165/3. I cannot find this birth on the UHF (ancestryireland.com) and tried to order from Dublin but they say this reference is for Naas and not Kells.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
