Good Morning to All,
I am currently trying to locate any descendant's of Sir Ralph Abercromby born at Menstrie, Clackmamanshire in 1734. Abercromby was Commander of British Forces at the Battle of Alexandria and was wounded on the 21st March 1801. He died of his wounds on board HMS Foudroyant on the 28th. He was brought to Malta and buried within Fort St Elmo, Valletta.
A current Restoration programme is currently being carried out on the Fort and I have been asked to contact any relations living today. Thanks all
