Nothing major to add, other than, i always look at the witnesses on a marriage cert, they tend to be much more connected to the married couple than family and can be a good indicator if any name changes or where they may all travelling in a census  Kushti bok!

Our annual meet up for the, descendants of the Romany families of the Bohemia estates and Eastwood is mid October this year due to hall bookings.
Please share the event details with your families.
15th October 11am- 3pm. £2 entry charge
Refreshments available.
Good access.
Onsite toilet facilities.
Parking at the hall is limited. Please park at the church and walk back, its 5 minutes away on foot.

Annual meeting in Eastwood for the descendants of the gypsy & travellers who "stopped" at the Bohemia Estates Eastwood Essex. The meeting is in Eastwood church hall and belongs to St Laurence and All saints church (Eastwood church as known by the locals) which has a very long history and is associated with the Gypsy families who stopped and/or settled here,

Sunday 23rd October 2022 12-4pm
Refreshments available, £2.00 p.p entry, onsite wc's. Free parking available, very limited at the church hall venue, but larger parking facilities at Eastwood (st laurence & all saints) church, 5 min walk away.
Lots of regular attendees with family connections Boswell, Brown, Buckley, Bibby, Gray, Harris, Hearn, Lee, Loveridge, Lamb, Livermore, Smith, Scarrott, Spencer, Spearman, Stones, Webb, plus many other family surnames.
New family members found, new friendships made, many certificates, documents & photos shared and many unknown photos named.

i wonder if any-one may have any details on a marriage between, thomas webb and sarah pearse 24th sept 1871 at ongar, essex.
his father is listed as thomas webb a licensed hawker and hers is john pearse a licensed hawker. the marriage is witnessed by levi webb and ann pearse ( X marks the spot)

Sunday 3rd October 2021 12.00-17.00. For all those who have ancestry connections to Eastwood. Eastwood church (st laurence and all saints) Bohemia/ Grosvenor and Ann Boleyn Estate stopping ground or with family who stoped there. Look forward to meeting you.

The venue is the church hall, not at the church. Parking available on site for those less abled and for the rest of us, parking is available at the church which is 5 min walk away on flat ground. Refreshments will be available and entry will be £2.50 per person. Link below for details on the church and the church hall

I have searched for my ancestor for same regiment and info coming through was enlisted at Warley Essex and training at Peas Pottage Surrey, unsure if that's any help to you at all? good luck
