Hi, Sandra.  I can do that.  It might be better for me to say that there is no moderator research required, otherwise it is misleading as my research is far from being perfect or complete.  As I stated previously, my research is only a beginning point for someone who has an interest in this family.

Hi, Sandra.  I haven't put this on the surnames interest as I am not particularly interested in obtaining additional information.  As I explained to Sarah on a different platform, I am mostly interested in clearing out and cleaning up my various genealogical notes.  Hopefully, various Macaulay researchers will find my research of some beneficial use.

This branch of the Houstoun family was related to the Macaulays of Rutherglen, so I will add their pedigree here.

Houstouns were a wealthy family involved in trade and government.  Refer to Houstouns of Clerkington.
