Hello Susan & Justin  :)

Susan - sadly I no longer have the information on your family as I have passed on the evidence I had gathered to my friend. IF I remember rightly then you & my friend would be cousins. I have called him & left a message for him to get in touch with me as you are definately related.

I live in Spain just down the road from your relation so if you know any who live in Spain then you will be able to work out who I was looking for  ;D

Thank you,

I am a bit loathe to spend money on this one as it is for my sister in laws Mum & I have already spent a fortune doing our tree. I have managed to get Edith Crumpler's family back to 1822 George Crumpler c.1822 Harbridge Hampshire so I will get in touch with them first before forking out anything. As we all know it can be an expensive hobby lol

Hello and a very Merry Xmas to you all.

I am trying to find the birth of James Knight according to the 1881 census a Butcher by trade born c.1855 Plumstead Kent.

He married Edith Hooker born c.1857 in Stopham Sussex.  They married in Hove, Sussex on 26/03/1876.

I have found Ediths ancestors butI am stuck on James. They had a son James Henry Knight born 1880 Brighton.

I have found a Henry Knight living in Plumstead in 1851 with a son James born c.1853 but can't be sure as I don't have the names of any of James' siblings...if he had any..

Any help greatly appreciated

 ;D Hi Justin,

I have been trying to resize the census but for some reason it wont let me,  I have looked again at it and think you are right it does look like Otelberg  ;)

If you pm me your email I can send you the originals...on my 1901 he is 1st on the list.

We knew they were Jewish & I agree with you given naming traditions it is highly likely Reubens father was another Issac

Thanking you so much for your help
