Monmouthshire / Re: Missing family on 1871...maybe in Monmouth ?
« on: Monday 10 November 08 02:09 GMT (UK)  »
HI

I CANNOT FIND THE FAMILY YOU ARE LOOKING FOR,

BUT I CAN CONFIRM THAT IN 1871C THEY WERE NOT LIVING AT THE ADDRESS

THAT THE FAMILY WERE IN IN 1881 WHICH WAS 70 FLEUR DE LIS

THE OCCUPANTS OF THIS ADDRESS WERE MARY & BENJAMIN DUDLY (DUDLEY)

I DID FIND A DEATH RECORD FOR A BENJAMIN DUDLEY ABT 1875, SO MAY YOUR FAMILY MOVED THERE AFTER HE DIED, SO IT'S POSSIBLE THAT YOUR FAMILY COULD HAVE BEEN IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE IN 1871C

WHERE WAS JOHN STRANGE JUNIOR BORN ?

THANKS REBECCA

hi,

if you go on the national archives website, you can search medal cards, you only need the persons name to do this, you don't need the reg number

thanks good luck

lol, potty by nature too

also, i just tried the re-sizing via email and it works perfectly, i sent some documents to my daughters email address , i reduced them to the smallest size possible, it took me seconds to do and the result was near perfect

i had no trouble reading the document all

the easiest option

burn all documents to disc and post it to you brother

quick, simple and no loss of quality
