Hi,

Market garden was not necessarily large, he may have been renting the land, so only hard work
And seeds required.

If you look at the entry for Harriett Greengrocer/shopkeeper it also states at home, so
selling from the house in which the lived.

So no large capital expenditure.

Hi,

Thatís fine pleased to assist.

The Bpt for Dorothy in Parish Register, the Surname on Ancestry is Tempus - difficult to read

However the Bpt from Bishops transcripts is clear, it is on 6th line up from bottom

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSH3-3864?i=22&cat=322544

Not so sure they are your Tempest family as Tempas appears to be another surname.

Will have a look re Tempest and Peck Wash Mill.

Hi

Word after maintenance I read as housing up.

If the will is on line details would assist or a clip from another part of the Will, in order to
Compare writing.

Hi

You say he lived with an Aunt, we know 1911 it
was not Beatrice, his Motherís only sister so need to narrow down time line in order to discover who this may have been.

They all appear to be in Middlesex when Reginald Matthews was born Sept q. 1907, so what other
Relations to you know of who were in Middlesex about this time?

This is assuming it was an actual relation who he knew as Aunt.
