Thank you both  :). I'll get it on Wednesday 28th. I'm in Ireland, so don't think I can use BBC iPlayer. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Also, I've just bumped up a post with an offer that might still be valid.

Bumping this post up, in case this offer is still available. If your sub is due to expire, maybe try link.

Cheers, frostyknight

Oh, I wish I could find similar.
One thing I've thought of: if you simply lapse / leave Ancestry, what happens to your tree(s) on there? Do they vanish, 9or become public?
TY

No, when I've let my subscription lapse, my trees stay exactly as I've left them, still private. You can still add to and edit your trees. You can't, however, see the Ancestry records you've attached to your tree, so it's a good idea to always download or save records to your computer.

I've just used the link successfully for a year's world subscription to Ancestry, with a refund of £3.68 on the £5/month UK & Ireland which was due to expire in June. And I didn't even have to use a VPN this time, they obviously didn't care that I'm in Ireland, not the UK. Thank you Sandra.  :D :D :D

Very mixed weather here in Dublin for the last few days. Today, there is lovely warm sunshine interspersed with very heavy rain, and we had some thunder yesterday. Tomorrow is supposed to be dry and sunny, I hope to get some gardening done if it is.

I also have a full 2nd cousin who is not a DNA match to me on Ancestry. We both descend through our female lines. It's very strange.
