Hi James

Yes Dan was the County Councillor but did you forget that my dad was his second in command County Councillor Young lol.Dan was at my wedding just before he died. Does anyone in Croy know the names of the men in the Croy band photo.You can spot some of the Rafferty family. Always meaning to go to Croy to the  historical society.Got some questions to ask you about Canada as my mums sister emmigrated from Kilsyth 1926 and died in Ottawa hospital 1931 after given birth.Another post and we will be able to private mail.lol

Couldnt help commenting as i was also born and brought up in Croy.First post on this as well.James Lochries grandson, James in Canada ,im your brother Wullies best pals wee sister.lol Marguerite Young,didnt realise you played in the band as well.Ive been researching my tree for a few years now.I see Wullies daughter has done your family tree .I had a look at it as im sure the Mulholland she had was related to my dads family.Also was your Gran shaw, Dan Taggarts twin.Remember your dad well and just found out you were related to Mary Kerr (weldon) as well. Mind you we are all connected somehow in Croy.  Would have private messaged you but think you need to leave 3 posts on here first.Marguerite
