Australia / Liverpool Cemetery, Sydney - Photo request
« on: Thursday 13 December 12 22:35 GMT (UK)  »
Hello there,

I"m looking for a generous person who would be able to tell me where I can look online for grave locations and/or could take photo's from the Liverpool Cemetery.

Any assistance would be really appreciated.

Hello Claire,

Is your offer to photograph headstones at the Shepparton Cemetery still open?

Australia / Re: WALKER and BROWN - Can't find a marriage in NSW in the 1920's

Hi Sue,

The information suggests this is the right Henry.

I'm still trying to find a divorce from his first wife, and a marriage to the 2nd wife (Margaret).   ???

Unless of course he didn't divorce and actually didn't re-marry (only told people they were married) or maybe Henry and Margaret married in another state.

Margaret was actually from WA but I've looked there as well and can't find a marriage record there.

Hi Spades,

I found a Death record for him in 1886 in the District of Ashfield, NSW.  Parents names match perfectly.

Hi Debra,

Yes I also found that marriage too and I don't know if it is correct.  I believe that the Henry I am looking for was born in 1885, so he is definitely old enough to have married for a first time in 1908.

I also couldn't find a divorce record for Henry and this first marriage to Ethel Isabel Riley????  Interesting that you found Ethel by herself on the Electoral Roll in 1930.  This could imply it is the same Henry.

I did find a death record for a Henry Walker in 1945 in Horsley Park, which could fit given that Madge re-married in Victoria in 1953.
