William Smith (born c. 1829) in Hedon(?)  - parents unknown
married Elizabeth Atkinson in 1861 in Hedon.  She was born in Tunstall (c.1836) parents unknown
They had the following children:  Harrison (~1863) - George (~1865 - died young?) Jessie (~1871) & Susannah (Oct. 18, 1875) - she was my grandmother.  She married Robert Jewson Gibson in March, 1896.
William does not appear in any census records - only Elizabeth & the children (1871 & 1881)
He died May 15, 1877 and was buried in Hedon (at St. Augustine's Cemetery?)
She died in Jan. 1896.              Any further information welcome.

We learned above that Robert Jewson Gibson married Susannah Smith in March of 1896.  Her parents were William and Elizabeth (Atkinson) Smith.  We think he was born in Hedon around 1829 - she was born in Tunstall in 1836.  We have a marriage date of August 1861, but are not sure if that is correct.  He died in May, 1877 and was buried in Hedon.  His name does not appear in any census records.  Other children born to them were Harrison, George and Jessie.   Can anyone provide any other information about them?
