William Brennan from Coolcullen, Mothell and Muckalee, County Kilkenny married NANCY DUIGAN, Kilkenny.  Children: James 1829, John William 1834 in Coolcullen, Ellen 1842, Mary 1843, Michael 1846 in Crosspatrick.  May have been other children

There was also a cousin  William Brennan born in 1859, who came out to Australia on the “Hawkesbury” in 1878.

James and John arrived in Australia on the “Araminta” in 1854.  John married Catherine Mary Walsh at Mudgee NSW in 1863, 13 children.  Ellen married Michael Sweeney at Mudgee NSW in 1868, two children.  Mary married Jas Foster in Brunswick, Victoria, one Son James.  Michael married Johanna Cahill at Mudgee NSW in 1886, two children.

If anyone can help with any information I am extremely grateful

p.s. I have a copy of the Marriage Entry from the Parish which states that William Brennan married Nancy Duigan 19th August 1827, Parish of Muckalee, Diocese of Ossory, County Kilkenny Ireland.

And to Shanew147 I would appreciate you not altering my posts to an incorrect marriage for William Brennan ie. Anne Ryan

Looking for information on a Mary BRENNAN born about 1843 Kilkenny, Ireland – Parents: William BRENNAN and Anne DEEGAN.  Married in 1874 in Brunswick, Victoria, Australia to widower James FOSTER who was a Cab Proprietor – Parents: George FOSTER and Mary O’HARE.  James Foster died 1905 North Melbourne, Victoria.
The only child of this union was James FOSTER born 1875 Coburg, Victoria.

Any information on Mary FOSTER nee BRENNAN and her son James FOSTER jnr. would be fantastic.

James FOSTER was previously married to Mary DIGAN (Multiple spellings) in 1853, Freemantle, Western Australia.  Mary’s parents were John DIGAN and Mary surname unknown.  Mary FOSTER died 1873 Coburg, Victoria aged 43 years.
Children of this marriage were: Elizabeth 1855, George 1856, Mary 1860, Joseph 1862, Robert 1866, and 1872.

Thanks for your time, Kathy

Thomas Barnes born 1818 Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.
Occupation Butcher in 1840.  Ruthin Goal then Prison Hulk on the Thames. Arrived in Australia on the Convict Ship “Maitland” on 14th July 1840.  Married Rachel Ware in 1854 at Wollombi NSW.  Children of the marriage were Mary, Henry, Jane, William, Thomas, Charlotte, Lucy, Victoria, Emily and Susan.  The females married into the following families: Porter, Allsop, Wadwell and Mason.

I would like to make contact with anyone who is part of this wonderful family.  I am particularly interested in the family Thomas Barnes left behind in Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.

If anyone can help me with information, I would really appreciate it.
