hi Catherine  I am researching my grandmother, I have no idea where she was born I wandered if you  may be able to help me.         Bridget (Mary) Byrne married Thomas Mcgehan 11 7 1915 at the church of St Andrews reg district no 4 in the union of south Dublin,at the time of the marriage they were living at 9 Stephens place Dublin she was of full age, her fathers name was Andrew Byrne occupation groom .Thomas was killed in France in 1916. Bridget came to England around 1920 and married my grandfather in 1924,on her marriage certificate it had her age as 29 her birthday was on the 5 July. I believe that Bridget and Thomas had a daughter who may have been called Bridget she was left with her grandmother in Ireland, My grandmother was still in England when her daughter died of diphtheria around 1925 but i can find no record of  it .I appreciate any help that you can give me or if  you can point me in the right direction.
