Does anyone have any information on the above names?
Here is the information that I have so far sourced...

Lucy Ellis B:1904 (Grimsby)
Sister Sarah B:1887?
Brother John B:1901

Lucy married Arthur Edward Robinson and they lived in Liverpool.

Arthur Edward Robinson B:?
Father Arthur Robinson B?
Mother Margaret Warren B:1879

Margaret Warren Father James Warren B:1852
Mother Winifred B?

Unsure of where James and Winifred originated from so possibly a stab in the dark...

I am looking for the possible surname of THOMAS PICKERINGs mother.

Thomas was born 1832 in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.
His father was William Pickering b: 1797/1801
His mother was Ann ? b: 1804/1806

Any information or suggestions would be really appreciated...

Hi

Can anyone help find birth record for John Norman, born January 1933, Died September 2003, in the Nottingham area. He had a brother and sister, George and Celia. I know that at some point of his life, him and his siblings were in a childrens' home. Which home would this be and would there be any records anywhere?

Unfortunately that is all I know. Information is otherwise very scare. He was my father in law.

Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me find Ada Jones born about 1869/70.

I have her on the 1871 Census with her mother Sarah Jones (Goddard), they were staying with Sarah's family.

I can't find her on any where after this.

Her parents were Sarah Jones (Goddard) and Thomas Jones in the Hinckley area.

It has been suggested that she died in 1875.

Would the records show Sarah and Thomas as her parents and what her cause of death was?

Hi

Can anyone find a birth or death for Ada Jones born about 1870. Her mother was Sarah Goddard and her father was Thomas Jones. She is with Sarah on the 1871 Census age 1, but not on the 1881.
On the 1871 Census Sarah and Ada are staying with Sarah's parents Johnathon and Mary Goddard.

Just a query....

Would it have been "common" practice for parents to put their names on a child's baptism record, if they were in fact grandparents??

Ellen Anderton B: 1854.
On the 1961 census she is listed as Jacob Andertons daughter, but on her baptism record parents are named as William and Mary Ann (Jacobs parents). Jacob was born himself in 1840 so would only have been 14 when he became a dad, Ellen's mother was born in 1838 and so would only have been 16 herself???

Hi...again...

Can anyone help me find the surname of my Great Great Grandmother.

Her name was Sarah Ellen ? born around 1851. She married John Remington Clarke who was born around 1850.

If possible a marriage date could also be helpful, I am thinking around 1870 ish but haven't been able to find anything on Ancestry that I think could be them.

Hinckley, Leicestershire area or maybe Nuneaton/Atherstone, Warwickshire area....

Leicestershire Lookup Requests / COMPLETED. Pickering Burial look up, please

Is it possible to find the location of the following

Mavis Pickering died 24th December 1937 born 1923
Thomas William Pickering died June 1948
Lillian Pickering died December 1947

They were buried together as I have the receipt for the plots when they were purchased. They would be buried in Ashby Road Cemetry, Hinckley.

I also intend to contact the local council.

Hi

Here are some photos of who I think may be my Great Great Grandparents. My Great grandparents were born 1886 and 1889, with my Great Grandma dying when she was 93.
They were taken at Speight, Nuneaton.

If anyone is able to lighten the photos up (for dating purposes) especially the lady then please feel free.
