Wondering if anyone has access to newspapers and could find the full write up re an article that appeared in the ALCESTER Chronicle on 8th July 1893.
Headed Coughton, and it talks of the nuptials of the Duke of York and Princess May. It mentions field loaned by a Mr SUMNER .

Thanks for these although I have seen them all, some folk will find them interesting to look through too i expect. My GGrandfather might have gone bush and died, I'm sure from the sounds of him he wouldnt have had any money to leave the country! He was dead prior to 1926 as his wife Mary was listed as a widow when she died.

Thanks everyone for your interest and responses, my Edward was well known to the Police around 1877 -1880 for various stealing and wife desertion etc, seems he has disappeared,maybe time to RIP.

Yes it is, I have these thanks. I am trying to remember who gave me this information below or where it has come from. Using it I asked NZ BDM for details but nothing so far! I am going to request a search in the hope of finding further information.

Thanks for your question and interest, I have tried many time on this board and had lots of help too, but failed to get a trace on him after 1877 in NZ -other than a couple of notices in the Police Gazette where he seems to have deserted his new wife then got back together as they had a son in 1880. Nothing after that.
