rita geary is the connection in perth--it petty hard to follow the rita's in this family but rita geary is rita anna bade/godfrey--rita annie godfrey her daughter and rita nell godfrey is the daughter of jack martin godfrey.

its great the horse trainer bit has been confirmed

does anyone now what happened to richard--did he remarry--where did he die

Richard seems to have a wife called Rita Anna Bade and children called Jack, Roy and Rita. i can find the Bades in Ballarat and then Rita Ann and children in Western Australia. i believe Richard was in harness racing and training, but who was he, where did he come from and what happened to him

hi everyone--back off holiday and picking up on previous posts--if it is correct that thomas  arrived in melbourne by ship from the uk and travelled on to sydney--how did he get to perth--by ship?--if so is there any passenger lists for ships arriving from the eastern states--this would be around 1893/1894--if mary ann wharmby arrived in sydney by ship as there any record of her travelling onto  western australia around the same time of thomas--she may be using the name cooke/wharmby/hulbert or hoffman--

hi mollipops--thanks for your post--i am interested in millens mainly due to clare who is related to me via a  william and phoebe cooke of eye herfordshire uk--i have all family members up to clare, her children/grand children are a mystery--i have quickly looked on the trove web site trying to pick up any notices for death, engagement of wedding, i have not picked anything up yet--regards homer46

clara also had 2 sons,married with a daughter each. Her husband Rennie was chairman of transports and firebrigades. one son was in the auditor generals office and the other in health inspection. what happen to this couple and what is recorded of their sons, grandchildren and great grand children.

hi dundee--the marriage of mary ann to thomas wharmby seems to be looking ok as her father on the certificate is a william cooke gardener which ties --homer46
