Northumberland Lookup Requests / Willington Quay Galloway and Cairns
« on: Monday 05 March 07 16:27 GMT (UK)  »
 8)
My Grandparents were Elijah Galloway (1885-1916) and Catherine nee Cairns (1882-1919) District = Tynemouth. They lived in Willington Quay nr. Wallsend. Their Parish was St. Mary the Virgin the church they were married in was the Presbyterian Church WQ. Their children were Joyce, Catherine and Robert who were brought up by relatives on their death.
I don't know how my grandfather died (31) and I think my grandmother died during childbirth. What I am trying to find out is what cementery are they likely to be buried in and what is the local maternity hospital and would there be any possible obituaries around. Many thanks

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a Presbyterian Church in Willington Quay or nearby. Also what cemetary they may use. I may be going to that area soon and would like to find where some of my relatives may be buried.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Desperately seeking Franklin
« on: Thursday 15 June 06 21:23 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
I have posted this request before but I’m really stuck now.
I have no living relatives to ask but I have a marriage cert for my Grandfather he is Arthur Ambrose Franklin age 27 Occ. Fitter married Florence Anderson age 25 at St Barnabas Church, Little Ilford. In July 1915. Address 80 Byron Avenue. My GGrandfather was Ambrose Arthur Franklin Occ. Bootmaker My Grandmother’s father was Richard James Anderson Occ. Engineer.
I’ve tried the free BMD and the 1891 & 1901 census’ but I am unable to link my Grandfather to my GGrandfather. I’ve had a couple birth certs for Arthur Franklin and derivatives like Frankling but these don’t appear to be my Grandfather. Has anyone any suggestions or shall I just wait for the 1911 census to become available as this seems to be my only option at the moment.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Alien Abduction - Franklin
« on: Thursday 04 May 06 20:06 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
Were there any reports of alien abduction in London in the 1900's?
My Grandfather Arthur Ambrose Franklin (b 28/05/88 – d AMJ 1974)
He married Florence Anderson in July 1915 Little Ilford,
On the Marriage cert. my G Grandfather is named as Ambrose Arthur Franklin occupation: Bootmaker.
The address is 80 Byron Avenue.

The problem is I cant find any trace of them before this date in any census
There is an Arthur Ambrose Frankling (poss spelling mistake) b 1888 registered JAS. I have sent off for a birth cert. but if this is not my Grandfather I don’t where to go next as I have no living relatives to ask. HELPPP!
