Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Re: Potential breakthrough
« on: Tuesday 06 July 21 11:30 BST (UK)  »
I have the DNA uploaded to all the different sites, have had various professional investigations, spoken to several professional researchers, had a journalist publish a newspaper appeal The bottom line is that I could use help at the last hurdle. I believe I have 'located' the right family. H

OK fair enough. Its just that most people just post to one site and then not necessarily the best site. Still if you have a wide coverage of sites it might just be a waiting game, or indeed if people really don't want to be found then not at all. Still fingers crossed and wishing you the best for an eventual resolution

Yoi could try uploading your DNA results to other sites in the hope of making new matches.

It looks as though page 1 is missing on Ancestry.  By using an alternative method for searching :

County   Durham    Civil Parish     Ingleton     the images start at page 2 and the following page is Folio 20, page 3

Thank you for your help.

Think i will message Ancestry and see what they say. Who knows they may put the "missing" page back

Durham / Margaret Fryer 1861 and 1871 census
« on: Sunday 04 July 21 10:53 BST (UK)  »
Margaret Fryer was born in 1859 at Ingleton, Durham to Thomas Fryer (1824) and his wife Mary Russell (c1823).

I have Margaret on the 81 and 91 censuses at 1 Pattison Street, Darlington and Neasham Hall Farm, Neasham respectively. I am trying to find her on the 61 and 71 censuses ( i do not need her after 91 as i know where she is).

I have found her on familysearch on the 61 census but can not find her on that census on Ancestry. The 61 details are

Margaret Fryer, Female, Age 2, Date   1861, Place Ingleton, Durham, England, United Kingdom

Household ID   4105023

Can anyone find this 61 record on Ancestry or the 71 record anywhere.

Thank you
