Hi All

I am trying to find the following and could do with some help as I have spent half of today searching scotlandspeople for this couple:

Joseph Kelly (Bn 13 May 1863 in Calton) married Marjory Stewart(Bn 27 Aug 1865 Glasgow) on 2nd Nov 1883 Denniston they both died in 1915.
I am trying to find them on the 1891 census according to the 1911 census they had 13 children of which 7 were still alive in 1911 I have 6 of them all born after 1891 I am looking for the one who was born before 1901 I suspect his name could be Thomas.

Hi All
Getting back to family history after a gap. I am looking for info on the records below I am looking at a Patrick McEwan can anyone decipher the records below. The one I am leaning towards is the first one, as this family has used the Scottish naming pattern up to modern times which would make fathers name Patrick (Peter) and mothers name Catherine.

MCEWIN VAIN PATRIK CATRIEN NIKEWIN TAN 12/06/1655

MCEWINTAN PATRIK ELSPET NIKEANVAILLICH/ 23/09/1650

Many Thanks

Hi All

The attached image from Scotlandspeople is dated 1819 but could this in actual fact be 1818 as the two other images on the file are from earlier months than the one I am looking at, at the top of the page there is a mark beside a tear in the page.
what does everyone else think.

Hi All

Attached is from the 1861 census in Calton I am looking for confirmation of the writing also what does it mean.

Only the writing contained within the box. Born North or South have spent many years trying to take my OHs family further back in time it pays to actually read the small print totally missed what is written here.

Berwickshire / Andrew Hood
« on: Wednesday 03 October 18 15:19 BST (UK)  »
Hi All

I am looking for a possible baptism or any information on the above Andrew Hood and his father George. He married a Christian Halley in Dysart Fife in 1815 and on the OPR it Say's son of George Hood late smith at Eyemouth (image attached) does this mean that George is dead or that he has left Eyemouth.

Any info much appreciated.
