Norfolk / Elizabeth Jacob/s or Mann
« on: Friday 11 April 08 13:06 BST (UK)  »
Hi Rootschatters, I am trying to find the birth details of Elizabeth Jacob born abt 1858 in Dersingham, Norfolk. the 1861 census shows her living at Terrington St. Clement age 3. Her father was Baxter Christmas Jacob and married  Mary Ann Mann in 1860 so she was born prior to the marriage. I have seached birth records and family search for Jacob, Jacobs (the "s" was introduced by Baxter) and Mann Any help, tips or comments appreciated. Many thanks, Geoff.

Hi Rootschatters.
George Lascelles Ward b Oct 1894 in Bullingham, Lincolnshire. His wifes name was Mary. I have his birth cert. and 1901 census but cannot find any marriage or death details on BMD's or family search. They had a son Ronald George Ward and I have his marriage cert which shows George Lascelles as a steel works labourer in Corby. Can anyone help or suggest a new line of search? Many thanks. Hi Valda, I have the birth cert you refer to but it is not our Mary - the fathers name is Alfred whereas Mary's father was George. As far as I can see none of her siblings had second Christian names. I have checked the family search and find my past websites with no success. Thank you for your help Geoff
