WWII In Memoriam / 8/6/1944 Sgt John R Fagg. 15 Sqdn.RAFVR. Age 23.

 Lancaster LL945 Took off 0041 8 June 1944 from Mildenhall to bomb the rail facilities. Crashed at le Boulay (Yvelines) 5 km ESE of Houdan.,
Buried with the rest of his Crew at GAMBAIS CHURCHYARD, France.

Son of Stewart Ernest and Dorothy Ivy Fagg, of Selling, Kent.

Does any one have this photo of this chap in their FamilyArchives .
Post Card Photo taken at the Gates of Keycol Hospital, Sittingbourne.Kent.
He was  convalescing note the cane he is leaning on. He has 2 Good Conduct Stripes on his left sleeve and looks like a Wound stripe below.
Would think the photo is circa 1918-19 possibly a bit later.
His Cap Badge seems to be RA shape.
Maybe he was local to Sittingbourne and a relative took the Photo on a Visit?

Husband of Edith Jessop (Late Edwards) East Hall Farm, Murston, Sittingbourne.
Edith lost Frederick and her Baby Frederick G in 1916.She remarried to Percy Jessop in 1918.
