Hi seanmac,

Thank you for taking the time to look for me, they are all more recent Wall burials but you've confirmed where my grandad is, back to the drawing board for his parents then as their not there
Thanks again

The Common Room / Re: When will I be able to look at the records?
« on: Thursday 02 October 08 20:52 BST (UK)  »
Hi Roobarb,

Although you must be feeling quite emotional still after reading the records, I think that any records you can find whether they be good or bad enrich your research and I think on reflection I am glad that I was able to see the records concerning my g grandfather sad though they were, perhaps you will feel the same in time.
My ancester died on the same date as my birthday so I will always think about him then. I would like to think that both of our ancesters had happy times in their life and they are now being remembered.

And something I learned from the Ainsley program? That Barbados is 1000 miles from Jamaica, I had know idea it was so far, I always imagined the West Indies to all be quite close together.  :-[

Your not the only one!  :-[

Hi again marlinman, back from work now  :D

In my excitement this morning I forgot my manners - so welcome to Rootschat  :)

Since my original post last year I have realised that I had the wrong Frederick. My g grandfather Frederick was the son of Mary Hawksworth (Sister to John b 1847, daughter to William and Elizabeth). Mary married a Thomas Hawksworth (b 1859 son to Thomas and Mary).
I have sent you a personal message

Hi Alan,

I've had a quick look but no luck so far, it is a bit of a lottery although I have managed to find some of mine in the past

Good night
