Medal Index Card Hawkins (Harry) Look up

According to my info.  Harry Hawkins was on active service during WWl in France. I  have an "on active service" address for him of:
C/o AMDS 34 Div HQ BEF France (RAMC)?

His service number is 27608 and I believe he may have been attached to a medical unit

Found Harrys medal card - Private Harry R Hawkins, Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC),  he received the British and victory medal

Tah for that, was their any other useful info on it?

only the roll and page number for his medals, no other info I'm afraid, I'm having a look to see if I can find service records

Thanks, that was going to be my next step but as a fair percentage of them have been destroyed I am not holding my breath. None of the ones I have been chasing so far have turned up.

Got another one to find one day but he goes back pre WWI Royal Marines so I'm a bit more hopefull on that one.

It's about my bedtime now I'm flagging just a bit.

I've had a quick look but no luck so far, it is a bit of a lottery although I have managed to find some of mine in the past

Thanks anyway, I'm struggling on for a bit, halfway through doing a big entry and I don't like stopping halfway through but I think I may have to as I am making to many mistakes

Yes I had a quick browse through there prior to posting but nothing jumped out at me.

I'll have a closer look when I get a bit of spare time, if that ever happens.
