Hi,
Sarah or Sally Seller or Siller was the grandmother of Elizabeth Dolman on the Dolman side of the family.
Elizabeth's sister Jane Moore Dolman married John Hayter or Haiter or Heiter and her sister Eliza Ketturah Dolman married Matthew Maidment.
This has left me wondering where the names Thomas, Gregory, Joseph and William came from for the other boys. Perhaps they just liked the names?

I have since found out that Sarah married John Warwick or Warrick on 20 january 1812 in Ellingham and died in june 1819 in Ellingham. She had 3 children - Martha 1814-1829, William 1816-1835 and Richard 1819-?
Whether or not he was the father of James we shall probably never know and as James was only 8 when his mother died I wonder who brought him up and where? John remarried in 1820 so he may have stayed with him.NellieT

Thanks again Skoosh - yet another site I have never come across. I can't wait for the weekend to be able to look at it properly. Just glancing at it I have already solved the problem of there being no RCE icon for my other death record. I just need to let Scotlandspeople know and they will sort it . Plenty to keep me going for another few weeks! Bye for now Nellie

Cause of death was  drowning so I assume she fell in or threw herself in. Thanks Skoosh for the link to the nas site I didn't know it existed. Are any of the newspapers accessible online as I am unable to travel to Scotland to visit any local archives?
Unfortunately my other RCE death still does not have an RCE icon on it to look at the corrected entry.  Thanks Nellie

Thank you for such a speedy reply. I never noticed the Red tab before ! is it new? I have another death that has a corrected entry which I can also look at now. You have been a great help but the RCE told me nothing to explain how she ended up in the canal. I suppose no one will ever know. Thanks again, Nellie

I have just found the death entry for Sarah Lynch who died 4 Mar 1915. I have had difficulty deciphering it but I think it says "Fall in Forth and Clyde Canal near to Dalmuir Bridge". The cause of death is left blank presumably while investigations took place. On the margin of the entry it directs you to the RCE  which I believe is record of corrected entry. Does anyone know whether you can look at RCEs online or could anyone check this entry for me? I don't know much about Scottish records other than what I have found on Scotland's People. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks Nellie

Thanks Sue, No wonder I have struggled with this for so long. Do you have access to the Harbridge parish registers or do they come under Ellingham? I just wondered if there are anymore Tripketts.Without fathers for James Tripack or Sarah Tripkett a lot of the family history will never be found. I will maybe have to look for bastardy bonds! I think it is time to call it a day on the Tribick side of the family. NellieT

Hi, I still have no idea where Sarah came from but I now know that she was born c 1784 which would tie in with the daughter of John and Grace Triphook.I still have misgivings about this. She married John Warick or Warrick or Warwick in 1812 in Ellingham and died in Ellingham age 35 in 1819. John remarried the following year. They had 3 children Martha 1814, William 1816 and Richard 1819. Martha and William both died before the 1841 census and were buried in Ellingham. Does any of this information ring a bell? I have seen on another website that the daughter of John and Grace died in 1863 but that could always be wrong.... Nellie T
