Recieved a marriage cert for 1906 in the Parish of Buxton.The grooms occupation is Waiter and his residence at time of marriage is Holker House .Would anyone know if this was Hotel /Inn ?.
I know there is a Holker Hall in Cumbria .

Thanks for the reply - John Edwards had office in Liverpool and lived in Liscard around the Egremont / Falkland Road Area - I do know that the family lived in Falkland Road between 1881 & 1891.

PS: My grt-grt grandfather is buried in Rake Lane  : John Nugent Jackson, Master Mariner died 1904 .
