Hi Everyone,

I've been knocked out by the wonderful restorations of the other photos that I've posted and would be very grateful if I could have a clean up of this one please. This is my Great Great Granny...Jane Allan (Granny of Mabel Burgess)...it's one of the 'bad' ones that I mentioned previously and has been sellotaped together a long time ago. It would be lovely to have that line removed.

Hi All,

I've been looking at some more of the photos that I have and wondered if you'd like to have a go at this one  :)

These are my granny's (Mabel Burgess) cousins, probably taken in Aviemore and it's one of my favourites.

Hi all,

Here is Mabel Burgess and George Proctor, my granny and grandad...I think it was taken not long after they married in 1917. I don't remember my grandad as he died when I was just about a year old. I'd love it if you could clean it up a bit for me  :)

This is my granny Mabel Florence McDonald Imlay Margets Burgess. It's my favourite photo of her and I use her as my avatar...China suggested that I let you all see her  :)

I have no idea what colour her dress was so if you want to have a go at colour, I'll leave it up to you.

Found this new forum today...wonderful photos of War Memorials in Scotland and additions welcome  :)

I found my great uncles' names mentioned on one memorial...I hadn't been able to locate the correct one until today.

I'm already a big fan of the SP site but I just have to give praise to the staff for their efficiency and helpfulness in dealing with problems when you contact them.

The image and index data did not match for an ancestor that I'd viewed...I contacted SP on Tuesday and by this afternoon I had an apology and a promise to rectify the problem (which might take a while) and in the meantime the required image had been attached to the email.

Fantastic  :)
